As a theatrical person I adore things that take effort to make. I was recently directed towards this group of people and the video they produced. Go watch and thumbs it up and favourite the shite out of it. Then come back here we'll have a lovely cup of tea and a chat about it.
Its so lovely and smily that I just want to watch it forever and ever, Amen. But alas I am here instead writing a blog post for you. I want this video to become so viral that it goes beyond viral and becomes an epidemic! Its so necessarily complicated and yet so seamlessly perfect in the way that its orchestrated. It doesn't look over rehearsed or under rehearsed. It struck that perfect balance between too much and too little.
I would love to ramble on about it for the next year and a half but I simply don't have the time. But I shall ramble for a short while on my favourite part. I have two favourite parts. I shall list them in non chronological order just for that extra element on fun!
The first part I was totally drawn to was the part at the end where they are sitting on the four chairs using the different modes of transport to get home. Its such a simple idea but its pulled off amazingly. It really shows how something so simple can be so effective.
My other favourite part is the part in the middle with the dancing flowers, tree and bunny, because well who doesn't love dancing flowers, trees and bunnies?
While I know none of the group personally I wish them the best and hope they achieve great success. I do believe they deserve it.
Love and christmas cuddles,

Mistletoe and wine...

I had an ridiculously special moment this evening. The official start to Christmas for our brand new family.
It brought a tear to my eye when the little lady put the angel on our tree! It's a family tradition that I'm sure many of you follow, the youngest member always finishes the tree with whatever topper that family uses.
This year I may have realised another dream I wasn't expecting... I love the notion of decorating a home in such a way one could be forgiven for thinking Father Christmas overdosed on the tinsel cake and vommed all over the place. Sadly, I prefer the idea to the reality and am usually drawn to a perfect coordination of red, gold and cream. This year I finally kicked the habit. The tree is a beautiful mess of colour and the kitchen? Well, only a photo could explain, so here is a taster:
Admittedly the sitting room is truly tasteful... but there is tinsel in the bathroom so I think I still win!
I hope Christmas warms to the cockles of your heart and blows the misery of the 'R' word aside for one perfect, glittering month.

Two days ago I decided to do this thing where I take a photo a day for the next year. I adore my camera and taking pictures so I thought this is a good idea. I originally was going to keep it on my laptop and show only very selected people but when Ian asked me why there wasn't a dedicated album on facebook for it I thought why don't I put it online where people can see it. So I did.
I set up a photo blog, or a phlog as I've decided to call it. Don't feel compelled to go there. The photo's probably aren't that good but if you wanna, there's the link.

Would love to know what ye think.

My Night time Escapades. *Wink*

Sorry to disappoint with the title, this will be underwhelming to most of you. :P
I am a nocturnal creature. This is not up for debate or speculation, this is simply fact. Unfortunately none of my family members seem to agree. Because of this night time has become a sort of game for me – If I manage to stay awake the whole night without waking anyone up then victory is mine. However, this is no easy task to achieve; many obstacles stand in my way…
Some of the more frequent reasons why I lose this game are listed below.
My mother and her super hearing combined with her light sleeping means even as I go to turn my light off she will hear me and I will lose.
She can also hear me when I walk down the stairs to get a drink.
And so on…
Basically it’s just my mother who hears me. She’s also a dragon/dinosaur in case you couldn’t tell.
Well, besides the near death experiences and the stern talking to I get whenever I lose…this game is pretty fun.
